We recently released a new version of our Topic Tagging API! You can now generate multi-word hashtags or keywords for your blog.
With this tool, news feeders can easily classify their contents and advertisers can also place ads on the web in a more relevant way, matching the content of web pages to the advertiser’s industry. Twinword Topic Tagging API does more than just extract keywords from the given text. Based on contextual language understanding, the Topic Tagging API is able to generate human-like topics even without the presence of that particular word in the context.
The previous version finds the common associations between keywords extracted from the text. Those most highly occurring common associations become our topics.
In the new version, we added an additional algorithm on top of that. It looks for repeated pairs of words and if found, matches them with the list of single word topics found from our previous version. The matches become our new multi-word topics.
